The winning numbers for the jackpot were 23, 27, 41, 48, and 51, and the Megaball was 22, with a Megaplier of 2x.
According to the New York Lottery website, the winning ticket was sold at Liberty Beer and Convenience in Ozone Park.
This jackpot is the 13th largest in the history of the Mega Millions lottery.
Two tickets sold in Illinois and Massachusetts matched the five white balls to win $2 million.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be held on Tuesday, April 18, with a reset jackpot of $20 million.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 302,575,350-to-1, while the odds of matching all five white balls are 12,607,306-to-1.
Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with tickets costing $2 per play and the option to add the Megaplier for an additional $1.
